Oh World!

Oh world! Just how beautiful you’d be,

If only they’d think less as ’I’ and more as ‘we’.

 

If only every good thought, word and action were as honoured, awarded and followed

As they do the smallest TV celebrity,

There’d be a world of goodness, of joy, bliss and all those wonderful things

There’d be honesty, harmony and integrity.

There’d be good people to fall back on. There’d be pleasant, carefree newspapers

And there’d be happy faces everywhere you look.

There’d be peace on every shore, moor and peak. Cheer waiting around every corner

There’d be serenity in every crevice and nook.

 

Oh world! What an amazing joy-ride you could be.
